Observations of the sky have become difficult to do with the whole time change going on. It's already pitch black outside around my nightly observation time so I opted for watching the sky in the morning more often. Disoriented, I struggle with accepting that it is, in fact, 5:25 am and the sun is trying to blind my already terrible eyes. I get a sense of having overslept for a three hour delay or the same feeling of going to school after a morning appointment. Either way it feels terrible. I bet the sun feels the same way.
Driving down the streets of Sun Valley, I notice the annoyance on driver's faces when the sun gets in their eyes on a pretty dangerous curve where the two roads have to merge. It makes me wonder if the sun has ever caused any car accidents. I guess that's probably where the fancy sunglasses and the panel thing that flips down in cars come in (I have no idea what that thing is called). Are sunglasses really that effective?
The answer is yes. Sunglasses seem like they're just an accessory but really they have an important job of protecting your eyes from the evil sun. Wearing sunglasses help fight off the UV rays the sun gives off and shields them from any damage. The dark lenses allow you to keep your eyes open and on the road if you're driving. A cool pair of shades could save a life. If you'd like to know more about the effects of sunglasses and some tips on finding a good pair click here.
For my fellow glasses-wearers, (is that a phrase?) I would suggest this website instead. Photochromic lenses are a safer way to guarentee perfect vision and shade all in one. Don't be that one person that stacks their glasses and sunglasses on top of each other. Bad move, people.
Color palettes and unique textures are all part of the sky. This blog will bring you along my journey as I learn and observe. I'll expand my knowledge and notice the small details that I never have before.

The World Is Secretly On Fire
Abandoned babies, sick people, drug addicts, war veterans (with yourself or others), all these people have one thing in common: they know the secret. The secret of a burning world. Sometimes there's a few normal people that slip by and see the world as it really is. Wide eyes and gaping mouths don't exactly hide their feelings.
Sharp and calculating eyes burn holes through the fanciful barrier between themselves and others. To perceive the world differently has its cost. Innocence and ignorance is the currency, but silence is the key to understanding.
Time has changed recently and the sky is darker than ever. Ashes of a sad wild fire is scattered over my own horizon. A new type of silence has buried itself behind my eyes. I wonder what secrets I'll find as I stare quietly into the night.

To just sit and think is a rare opportunity for me. Meditating is something I've never done before but just looking at the sky can put me in a trance. It clears my mind from all the troubles and stress that life has caused me. Even with all these events of death and uncertainty, I do not believe that life is unfair. Life is fair because it is unfair to everyone. The world does not revolve solely on one person, but on the world itself. This paradox is sometimes nepotistic in nature and is what blinds some people from realizations. Invisible flames slither like a snake and tend to strike most at those that notice its presence. Knowing this secret can hurt because you can't protect those that haven't been hustled of their innocence from getting burned. My SilenceMy silence bridges the gulf between my life’s successand my life’s failure. My silence does not magnify my defects.Nor does it connive at them.My silence transforms my defects into strength indomitable. My silence is a climbing flame that warms my world of despair. My silence is my inner light. No problem of mine can defy solution. My silence is a selfless distributor of joy to ever-widening horizons. In my silence I become a man of sterling character,a prolific writer, a voracious reader, a divine lover,a profound inspirer and a triumphant liberator. In my deep silence I never become a victim to ignorance, the greatest calamity that can befall any human being. In my growing silence I am convinced that even as a man on this earth I shall be able to reach heights, transcendental, divine. My glowing silence alone can accelerate myGodward march. My spreading silence makes me see, feel and possess satisfaction, unalloyed satisfaction. No more have I to let loose a tirade of tenebrous dissatisfaction. In activity and vitality I proudly and wrongly feel thatI shall have to take care of the whole world. In the heart of silence I humbly and unmistakably realiseThat it is the Divinity within the world that took care, takes care and shall for ever take care of the entire world.Silence is my unceasing petition.Silence is my unreserved preparation.Silence is my unlimited realization.Silence is the unfathomable fount of my life here on earth, there in Heaven. What God’s Silence is . . .is the Eternal Truth. What God’s Silence serves is the Eternal Purpose. What God’s Silence becomes is the inevitable Fulfilment.
